Requirements

  • NYS Certification in Social Studies
  • Demonstrate proficiency with technology and a willingness to integrate technology into the classroom
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Understanding of and appreciation for the developmental needs of middle school students
  • Demonstrate strong pedagogy and effective classroom management
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of learning styles
 

Teaching

  • 1 section of 7th grade and 1 section of 8th grade

Our World Neighborhood Charter School is looking for faculty members who seek an opportunity to work with a diverse student body in a supportive collaborative environment, in which educational philosophy is based on inquiry, active and experiential learning, and social justice.
