Guidance
The guidance program at OWNCS is an integral part of the educational process. It assists the faculty and staff in providing the individual students with the skills necessary to reason, communicate, understand themselves and what lies ahead, and to find their way into the most favorable areas of activity for growth and development. While upholding our Pillars of a Positive Community, guidance serves to individualize the educational process through interpreting (collaboratively with all staff) the needs of students and adapting the educational program to meet these needs.
Pupil Support
In addition to our fulltime guidance counselor, the pupil support team is comprised of a dean of students, social worker and special education team, who work to ensure that our students' needs are met.
