OWNCS' commitment to offering children a superior education extends to the meals that are provided. The mission is to provide a variety of appealing and nutritious meals in a safe, clean, and friendly environment where people interact with courtesy, manners, and respect.
School Lunch Application
Many students are eligible for free meals. To find out if your child qualifies, return a completed application.
It takes just a few minutes to apply and only one application needs to be completed for all children (Grades K-8) living in your household.

OWNCS parents/guardians are required to create a PowerSchool account in order to access information about their children.
The PowerSchool Parent Portal provides the ability for parents/guardians to:
• Access multiple students with one login
• Change contact information
• Retrieve login information
To access your child's attendance, grades, and teacher comments, click PowerSchool
Parent Teacher Conferences
Formal parent teacher conferences are scheduled twice a year to discuss student progress. Conferences are held at the end of the first and third quarters of the school year. Refer to the school calendar for specific dates. Parents/guardians may also schedule informal conferences with teachers or school leaders at any time throughout the year.
All formal conference appointments are scheduled online via Teacher Reacher.
Tutorials for creating an account and making appointments are available on the Teacher Reacher website by clicking on the Support link on the top menu bar.
PTO (Parent Teacher Organization)
OWNCS has an active Parent Teacher Organization that helps parents become involved in their children’s education, share ideas, and enrich their school communities. All parents, step-parents, legally appointed guardians, foster parents and persons in parental relation are automatically members of the PTO.
