Elementary School (Grades K-5) Conference Schedule Thursday May 10th  (1-7 PM)  Elementary School teachers have made additional conference times available for parents who are unable to meet on Conference Day (May 10th).     Each Elementary School appointment will be ten minutes. I wanted to take the time to share some great news with the OWNCS community about one of our alumnae, Maia Fawcett.  For those of you that do not know who Maia Fawcett is, she attended OWNCS from grades K-8 and graduated in 2014. She played on both the girls' and boys' basketball teams and flag football team. Yesterday, Maia Fawcett signed her letter of intent accepting a full athletic scholarship (room, board and books) to Queens College, to play on their Division 2 women's basketball team... Read More

Keeping her volleyball skills sharp after a stellar championship season with the Lady Falcons, OWN 8th grader Ty'Kyrah Williams competed in the AAU Volleyball Providence Grand Prix Tournament. Her team, Creole Volleyball, placed first in their division and won gold medals. Congratulations to Ty'Kyrah and her teammates, for their amazing efforts that garnered the prize!

Mariela Lopez (OWNCS '15) has completed the summer intensive immersion portion of the Aspire Program, provided by the NYU School of Professional Studies High School Academy.  The Aspire Program is a two-year college preparatory and mentorship program available to rising juniors and seniors.  We are proud of Mariela's acceptance into this distinguished program, which will equip her with critical skills necessary for her pursuit of a legal career.
