How to Apply
THE APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2001-21 HAS PASSED.
Applications can still be submitted and the applicant will be added to the waitlist.
- Submit an Application
OWNCS uses a lottery application called Lotterease to ensure a fair and transparent admissions process. In Lotterease, you will create one parent account and add all children you would like to enter into the OWNCS lottery.

- Attend an Admissions Open House
All Open House dates have been canceled until further notice.
Lotterease will notify you of the lottery results by email. If your child has been selected, you have 2 days to accept or decline the seat. If you do not reply within 2 days, the seat will be given to the next child on the waiting list and your child will be moved to the bottom of the waiting list.
Acceptance & Enrollment
Students who are protected under the McKinney-Vento Act are entitled to immediate enrollment in school even if they don't have the documents normally needed, such as proof of residency, school records, immunization records, or birth certificate. Students who are protected under the McKinney-Vento Act may also be entitled to free transportation and other services.
Parents/Guardians who accept an offer of admission for their child will receive another email from Lotterease with a link to the Enrollment Package. The Enrollment Package must be submitted within 3 days. If OWNCS does not receive a fully completed Enrollment Package by the deadline, the offer of admission will be forfeited and passed to a child on the waiting list.
- Copy of child’s official proof of age
- Copy of proof of address
- Lease agreement, Deed, or Mortgage Statement for the residence

If the parent/legal guardian does not have a bill in his/her name, a notarized letter must be submitted stating that the parent/legal guardian and applicant live at the address stated on one proof of address listed above. Only applications with notarized letters will be accepted.

It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that OWNCS receives a fully completed Enrollment Package by the due date.
If a seat becomes available, OWNCS will accept students from the waiting list. The waiting list is kept until December 31, 2020. Lotterease sends a notification to families of applicants when there is a change in status.
